Pizza Dough Ingredients:
-3 1/2 cups All purpose flour
-1 1/4 cup warm Water💦
-1 tsp Salt🧂
-1/3 cup Olive Oil
-1/4 oz Pizza Dough Yeast
-2 tsp Sugar
Tomato Sauce Ingredients:
-1/2 can diced Tomatoes🥫
-2 tbsp Olive Oil
-1 pinch Dried Oregano🌿
-Salt (to taste)🧂
-1 tbsp minced garlic🧄
Toppings:
-1/2 cup Mushrooms (sliced & caramelized)🍄
-1 Onion (sliced & caramelized)🧅
-4 tbsp Black Olives (sliced)🫒
-Parmesan Cheese (shredded) – optional🧀
-Ham (leftover from Easter!)
Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 500°F & prep all toppings; set aside for later (wash & slice mushrooms, slice olives, shred cheese).
2) In a small pot add tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, salt, & oregano. Cook sauce for approx. 10-15 min on medium heat, stirring frequently. Set aside sauce for later.
3) In a small bowl, mix warm water & half the sugar; add yeast & whisk until dissolved. Let stand until bubbles form on the surface.
4) In a large bowl, whisk the flour, salt, & remaining half of the sugar. Make a well in the centre of the flour & add yeast mixture with oil. Stir until smooth & form the dough.
5) Sprinkle flour on a surface & knead the flour into the dough until the dough is no longer sticky (about 6-8min.) then place dough in a large greased bowl. Cover & let rise in a warm spot for about 30min.
6) Grease a pizza pan with olive oil or nonstick cooking spray, then sprinkle a dusting of flour on the pan. Stretch pizza dough to fit the pan (make sure you don’t make it too thin).
7) Poke holes in the pizza dough using a fork; drizzle a little bit of olive oil & spread tomato sauce over the entire pizza.
8) Add toppings, then place in oven for approx. 15min (all ovens vary, keep an eye on your pizza!)
Let sit for about 5min before slicing, then ENJOY❤️
